Lynn Allen Pelfrey

Lynn Allen Pelfrey, age 57, of Salem, passed away Sunday, June 2 at Salem Crossing.

Lynn was born August 6, 1966, in Salem, Indiana, the son of William and Edith Fern Reffitt Pelfrey.   He attended New Beginnings Baptist Church and was an employee of Blue River Industries.  He loved Kentucky Wildcats, Elvis, John Wayne, Nascar and Dale Earnhardt.  He was active in Special Olympics for several years.

He is survived by two brothers:  Harold Pelfrey and Chester Pelfrey both of Salem, two sisters:  Juanita Fleenor of Salem and Pauline Thacker of Mitchell.   He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers:  Winton E. Pelfrey and William Earl Pelfrey.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1PM at Winslow Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 11AM-12:45PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations by made to WHAS Crusade for Children.
