Marjorie June Hobbs age 82 of Sellersburg passed away Wednesday, June 13 at Maple Manor Christian Home.
Mrs. Hobbs was born June 18, 1929 in Bedford the daughter of Lovell H. and Allen Waneta Beatrice Chastain Brown. She was a homemaker and a babysitter for 37 years. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Benjamin Franklin Lambert. She then married Richard G. Hobbs and he also preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by two sons: Richard A. Hobbs (Yolanda) of New Albany and Ronald A. Hobbs (Kathy) of Sellersburg, two step-sons: Jerry G. (Juanita) and John E. (Gina) Hobbs both of New Washington, a step-daughter: Linda Jane Hobbs of Charlestown, two brothers: Denny and Phillip W. "Butch" Brown both of Campbellsburg, three sisters: Peggy Bagshaw and Dottie Brown both of Campbellsburg and Diane Sweeney of Salem, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
