Mark Aaron Hibbs, age 37, of Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 18, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Mark was born September 17, 1986, in Salem, the son of Mike Hibbs and Shannon Alexander Wells. He was raised in Jeffersonville and Salem. He was a graduate of West Washington High School class of 2005.

He had many passions in life including travel, computer science and technology, fantasy football, and was an awesome owner to his rescue dog Mac. Mark was a quick-witted and intelligent individual who cared deeply for his girlfriend and family.

Mark is survived by his girlfriend of 11 years: Katie Wilson of Louisville, his father: Mike Hibbs, his step-father: David Wells of Salem, his brothers: David A. Wells of Mt. Prospect, IL, and Daniel Wells of Jeffersonville, grandparents: Burl Hibbs, Billie Darling, William Alexander, and David & Janet Wells, nephews: Caleb and Reed, his aunts: Michelle Yount, Sandy Shawler, Jackie Roberts, and Rita Treadway, and his dog: Mac.

He is preceded in death by his mother: Shannon Wells and grandmother:  Alvnell Leach.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Saturday at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10AM-until time of service.
