Mark Shelby

Mark Shelby, age 65 of Salem, passed away, Saturday, October 4, 2025 at his home.

Mr. Shelby was born January 8, 1960 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Thomas O. Shelby and Ruth Eloise Hayes Shelby. He served in the Tennessee Army National Guard and worked at the Taylor Corporation his whole life.

Mr. Shelby is survived by his mother, Ruth, his brother, Keith Shelby (Barbara) of Salem and his sister, Melanie Overall (Ben) of Powell, Tennessee. He is also survived by two nieces, Madison Grant (Tim) and Claire Journell (Chris), two nephews, Brandon Overall and Evan Shelby (Kelsey) and one great niece and nephew.

Mr. Shelby is preceded in death by his father Thomas, and his brother, Michael Lee Shelby.

Cremation was chosen, and there will be no services at this time.
