Mr. Mark L. Thixton age 53 of Salem passed away Monday, December 3 at University of Louisville Hospital.
Mr. Thixton was born April 6, 1959 in Salem the son of Everett and Laura Mae Voyles Thixton. He was a former employee of Kimball's in Borden and IDX in Jeffersonville. He was a member of Salem Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his son: Jameson Thixton of Salem, his mother: Laura Mae Thixton of Salem, a brother: Tim Thixton of Salem and two sisters: Tammie McDonald of Fenton, Missouri and Sonnie Davis of Clearwater, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father: Everett Thixton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7PM.
