Martha Sharon (Cole) Allen

Mrs. Martha Sharon Allen, age 66, of Campbellsburg, passed away Tuesday, July 23 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.

Mrs. Allen was born November 14, 1952 in Salem the daughter of Eli Cole Sr. and Lillian Wheat Cole.

Sharon is survived by her husband:  Gerald Allen.  They were married March 3, 1968.  She is also survived by a son:  Frankie Allen (Lacey) of Bedford, a daughter:  Carlissa Sanders (Troy) of Depauw, three brothers:  Jimmy Cole of Salem, Ray Cole of Salem, and Tommy Cole of Orleans, and one sister:  Linda Dotson of Campbellsburg, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son:  Johnnie Allen, seven brothers:  Bill, Norman, Eli Jr., Charles Leo, David, Marvin, and Larry Cole, a sister:  Evelyn Cole and her parents.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 11AM at Cole Hollow Family Cemetery.  Burial will follow in Cole Hollow Family Cemetery.
