Marvin Hoke

Mr. Marvin Hoke age 86 of Salem passed away Sunday, September 24 at his home.
Mr. Hoke was born October 20, 1930 in Washington County the son of Sanford Omer and Maloria Glen Smedley Hoke. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Union Local #181 and security guard for Kimball. He was a member of Union Local #181 since 1958 and Smedley Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Wanda Mathena Hoke on May 15, 2010, a son: James Robert Hoke, a daughter: Vicki Mauck, a brother: Marion Hoke, a sister: Crystal Chastain, and his parents.
He is survived by a son: David Russell Hoke of Salem, six daughters: Anita Maudlin of Salem, Terri Hoke of Palmyra, Carol Chastain of Salem, Nora Hess of Paoli, Glenda Mousty of Palmyra and Nancy Duffy of Fort Wayne, 30 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and several great-great and great-great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:00PM at Smedley Cemetery. Burial will follow in Smedley Cemetery.
