Mrs. Mildred Clair Bush age 104 of Salem passed away Friday, August 1 at Meadow View Health Care and Rehab.
Mrs. Bush was born March 4, 1910 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of Samuel Tildon and Laura Ethel Chastain Trinkle. Mildred was a homemaker and very active in the Community Club 71 and Washington County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, where she served as President of both groups. She was also a member of Salem First Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star #231.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Bush on January 4, 1974. She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Mary Louise Nicholson, a brother: Marion Sam Trinkle, three sisters: Mary Marshall, Myrtle Flynn and Mabel Allen, a great-grandchild and her parents. She is survived by a daughter: Marty Rosenbaum of Salem, 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service.
