Mildred Irene (Tolbert) Jackson

Campbellsburg

Mrs. Mildred Irene Jackson, age 98, of Campbellsburg, passed away Sunday, November 14 at her home.

Mildred was born December 28, 1922, in Orangeville, Indiana the daughter of Edward Lee Tolbert and Stella Pruett Tolbert. She was a member of Saltillo Christian Church. She was a former employee of Smith Cabinet and Essex and retired from Ford Motor Company.

Mildred married Harold Jackson on June 27, 1959, and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2010. She was also preceded in death by a son:  Randall Jackson, a daughter: Sandra Colvin, four brothers:  Wayne Tolbert, Byron Tolbert, Newt Tolbert, and Willis Tolbert, a sister:  Imogene Hall, great-grandson:  Cody Wingler, great-granddaughter:  Reese Mollet and her parents:  Edward and Stella Tolbert.

She is survived by her daughter:  Naomi Woods (Mike) of Campbellsburg, a son:  Kevin Jackson of Campbellsburg, five grandchildren:  Michele Jackson, Neil Coyle (Amy), Eddie Colvin (Krissy), Heather Wingler (Chad), and Kala Mollet (Derrick), nine great-grandchildren:  Ryan Kemp (Megan), Evan Woods, Cameron Wingler, Chance Coyle, Kenadee Coyle, Lincoln Colvin, Madde Colvin, Carson Mollet, and Carter Mollet, and one great-great=grandson:  Luke Kemp.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM at Weathers Funeral Home with Mark Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Saltillo Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service.
