Minnie Wilson

Minnie Wilson, age 85, of Pekin, passed away Wednesday, November 19 at Salem Crossing surrounded by family. 

Mrs. Wilson was born July 21, 1940, in Pineville, Kentucky, the daughter of Speed and Sarah Maiden Crawford. She was a retired CNA for Salem Crossing. Minnie married James Earl Wilson on March 4, 1962 and he preceded her in death on September 16, 2013. She was also preceded in death by a son: Carl Wayne Wilson, two sisters: Cordelia Marie Webb and Roberta Sue Rockey, and her parents. 

She is survived by her children: James E. Wilson (Tonya) of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Raymond Lee Wilson (Tonya) of Pekin, Teresa Denton (Charles) of Pekin and Penny Barker of Pekin, three sisters: Annie Logsdon of Pekin, Jimmie Knight of Pekin and Frances Mcdaries of Barbourville, Kentucky, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. 

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 25 at 11:00a.m at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24 at 4:00-8:00p.m and Tuesday morning from 9:00 until the time of the service. Burial will be at Daisy Hill Cemetery following the services.
