Nancy Helen (Hammack) Quillen

Mrs. Nancy Helen Quillen, age 76, of Angola, passed away Thursday, August 18 at her home surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Quillen was born September 14, 1945, in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of Jesse Ezra and Dorothy Helen Gunter Hammack. She attended Livonia Baptist Church and was retired from Tecumseh. Nancy enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and other arts and crafts.

She is survived by a son: David Quillen (Deb) of Angola, three daughters: Donna Towers (Rob Jones) of Angola, Dorothy Riggle (Tim) of Terre Haute, and Deanna Money (Fred) of Angola, two sisters: Faye Strother (Steve) and Helen Hammack, a brother-in-law: Ralph Jacob Quillen, 11 grandchildren: Erin Kiser (Mike), Andrew Towers, Shaunta Banks (Kori), Sara Hernandez (Luis), Contrell Quillen, Courtney Quillen, Erica Quillen, Tim Riggle Jr. (Sharisse), Sabrina Money, Dustin Peacock, and Dallas Quillen, 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents: Jesse Ezra Hammack and Dorothy Helen Hammack, a son: Darren Edward Quillen, and four brothers: Jesse Ezra Hammack Jr., Charles William Hammack, Donald Lee Hammack, and Robert Ray Hammack.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 4-7PM and Tuesday from 10AM-until time of service.
