Pamela Faye Hensley

July 25, 1957 — July 8, 2025

New Washington

Mrs. Pamela Faye Hensley, aged 67 of New Washington, passed away July 8th, at Baptist Floyd. Mrs. Hensley was born on July 25th, 1957 in Salem. The daughter of John Edward and Evelyn Faye Jackson Lincks. She was a member of the first Baptist church in Jeffersonville and dedicated her life to serving her Lord and serving her family. She was happy to be a homemaker, caring for her whole family selflessly, but she was much more than that she was a physical therapist. She was a teacher. She was a medical specialist caring for their special needs son, who had serious illnesses.

Pamela married Felix Hensley on June 27, 1975, and he survives. She is also survived by 2 daughters, Cathy Jo Hensley, and Holly Ann Hensley, both of New Washington, and one son, Jacob Edward Hensley. She is survived by a brother Carl Edward Lincks of Paoli and her sister, Sherri Dellinger of Noblesville, Indiana.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents.

Pamela was known by family and friends as the most selfless loving, and giving person they had ever met. Pam's first task every day was spending time with her Lord. Then she set about doing whatever her family needed at that particular time, which always seemed to be a lengthy list. She was an avid reader consuming books at a record pace. Rapidly going from one novel to another. Everyone Pamela came in contact with was captivated by those twinkling eyes and that captivating smile and that incredible personality.

She will be missed by all who knew her. Cremation was chosen and burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Will be at a later date.
