Mr. Paul E. Roll age 85 of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, March 1 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Roll was born January 11, 1928 in Fredericksburg the son of Carl L. and Bessie Black Roll. He was a retired Rural Mail Carrier and Farmer. He was a member of Fredericksburg Church of Christ and Posey Township Water Board and was a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife: Marjorie Chastain Roll. They were married August 15, 1955. He is also survived by a son: Jeff Roll of English, a daughter: Paula Baylor of Clarksville, Tennessee, a brother: James Roll of Hardinsburg, a sister: Eudora Wenning of Hancock Chapel, and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers: Harold, Carl Mason, Wilson, Stanley and Robert Roll, and 2 sisters: Betty Johnson and Helen Elliott.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Smedley Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service.
