Rita L. Martin age 57 of Pekin passed away Saturday, January 14 at 10:22AM at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
Mrs. Martin was born June 1, 1954 in Jeffersonville, Indiana the daughter of Carl and Beulah Jenkins French. She was a Catholic.
Rita is survived by her husband: Steven Martin. They were married July 20, 1973. She is also survived by a son; Jason Martin of Pekin, two daughters: Stephanie Martin and Leslie Martin both of Salem, two brothers: William Brown of Pembroke Pines, Florida and James French of Pekin, a sister: Carol Melander of Orleans and a step-father: George Broy of Jeffersonville, grandchildren: Montanna, McKenzie and Mason Knight, Savannah Sipmson and Morgan Hancock. She was preceded in death by her parents.
