Rita Ann Padgett

Mrs. Rita Ann Padgett, age 68, of Salem, passed away October 6 at her home. 

Mrs. Padgett was born November 7, 1955, in Fort Ord, California the daughter of Marion and Virginia Greening Porter. She was retired from Kimball Int.

She is survived by her husband: Joey Padgett they were married May 30, 1998. She is also survived by two sons: Chad Korff (Jennifer) of Sellersburg, Eric Korff (Annette) of Jeffersonville, a brother: Gary Porter of Milltown, her mother: Virginia Porter of Memphis, IN, one niece, one nephew, one step-niece, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her caregivers, Matha and Glen Gosnell jr.

Rita is proceeded in death by a daughter: Helena Renee Korff, and her father: Marion Porter. 

Cremation was chosen there will be no services. Memorial donations can be made in Rita’s honor to the Humane Society of Washington County at 204 W Joseph St. Salem IN 47167.
