Robert L. Buckner

Mr. Robert L. Buckner, age 71, of Salem, passed away Saturday, October 22 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.

Mr. Buckner was born May 22, 1951 in Canmer, Kentucky the son of Samuel Louis and Virginia Louise Rutledge Buckner. He was a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Vickie Wright Buckner on July 25, 2021. He is also preceded by a daughter: Jennifer Lynn Sutherland, and his parents.

He is survived by his son: Brandon Buckner of Salem, three daughters: Michelle Farley (Robert) of Clarksville, Angela Bierly of Salem, and Tonya Buckner of Salem, two sisters: Patricia McNeely of Covington, IN, and Gale Lowe of Fithian, IL, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen there will be a service held at a later date.
