Mr. Robert L. Ellison age 72 of Campbellsburg passed away Wednesday, May 22 at 6:25PM at Harrison County Hospital.
Mr. Ellison was born August 22, 1940 in Wyndotte, Oklahoma the son of Charles and Georgene Winnemaker Ellison. He was a farmer and a former employee of West Washington Schools and Campbell Plumbing. He was a member of Posey Chapel Church.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Carolyn L. Mulvaney Ellison. They were married December 6, 1969. He is also survived by three sons: Mike Lanham of Salem, Ron Ellison (Wendy) of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and Josh Ellison (Amanda) of Lafayette, Indiana, four daughters: Debbie Hassler (Ty) of Campbellsburg, Edith Sutcliff of Hardinsburg, Brenda Gail English (Mark) of North Aurora, Illinois and Brenda Ann Farr of Oshkosh, Illinois, a brother: Len Ellison of Weston, Colorado, two sisters: Carol Volintine of Big Rock, Illinois and Evie Smith (Guy) of Mauston, Wisconsin, 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 11:00AM at Posey Chapel Church. Burial will follow in Posey Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4-8PM at Weathers Funeral Home and Sunday from 9AM-time of service at the church.
