Robert "Bob" Medlock, age 93 of Salem, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at his home.

Mr. Medlock was born February 7, 1933 in Orange County, Indiana the son of John Henry Medlock and Ruth Ellen Freed Medlock. Mr. Medlock was a farmer and an insurance agent. He was a member of Mount Tabor Christian Church. Mr. Medlock was a Corporal in the United States Army.

Mr. Medlock is survived by his wife, Euna Medlock, who he married December 6, 1991. He is also survived by his son, Robert Scott Medlock-Taylor (Dean) of Campbellsburg, daughters, Coleta R. Medlock (Della) of Clay City, Indiana, Kim A. Wray (Delbert) of Salem, step son, Kevin Lee Kramer (Nicole) of Salem, step daughter, Denise Nester of Allen, Texas, his brother, James Medlock of Orleans, sisters, Mary Jane Kinser (Terry) of Bedford, Carol Ann Collins of Orleans, Betty Jean Davenport (Reggie) of Floyds Knobs and his brother in law, Shayne Dowling (Vicki). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Ryan R. Perry (Becca), Justin P. Perry (Jaime), Joshua Medlock (Michelle), Kyle Medlock (Peyton), step grandchildren, Kelly Crawford (Scott), Sophia Nester, Kody Kramer, Logan Kramer, DJ Wray Jason Wray (Rebecca), great grandchildren: Robert Perry, Rhianna Perry, Raewyn Perry, Jacqueline Perry, Eleanor Medlock, Theodore Medlock, Branson Medlock, Landyn Wray, Deklan Wray and step great grandchildren: Connor Kramer, Addison Crawford, Chloe Maness, Kaden Maness and one step great great granddaughter, Elizabeth Maness.

Mr. Medlock is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Don and Jerry Medlock and his sister, Margaret Crecilious, his grandson, John Michael Medlock and his wife of 36 years, Viona Dowling Medlock.

Services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 2:00P.M at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 3:00-8:00P.M on Thursday, July 23 and from 11A.M until the time of service on Friday. Burial will take place immediately following the services at Crown Hill Cemetery.
