Robert “Scott” Medlock, age 61 of Campbellsburg, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026 at IU Health Bedford Hospital.

Mr. Medlock was born May 14, 1965 in Salem, Indiana, the son of Robert “Bob” Medlock and Viona Dowling Medlock. He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church of Bedford.

Mr. Medlock is survived by his husband, Dean Taylor, who he married on November 13, 2019. He is also survived by his sons, Josh Medlock (Michelle) and Kyle Medlock (Peyton) of Salem, his step-son, Sawyer Taylor of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and his sisters, Coleta R. Medlock (Della) of Clay City, Indiana, and Kim A. Wray (Delbert) of Salem. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Eleanor Medlock, Theodore Medlock, and Branson Medlock.

Mr. Medlock is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 28 years, Anita Craven Medlock, and his son, John Michael Medlock.

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 18th, 2026 at 3 PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11 AM on Wednesday until the time of service. Burial will take place immediately following the services at Crown Hill Cemetery.
