Mrs. Robin L. Shanks age 60 of Salem passed away Saturday, April 8 at her home.
Mrs. Shanks was born February 19, 1957 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was a former employee of Hand and Company and Washington County Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her Yorkies: Shelby, Teddie, Stewie and Ralphie.
Robin is survived by her husband: Samuel Shanks. They were married October 3, 1975. She is also survived by a son: Samuel Brandon Shanks of Jeffersonville, a daughter: Jessica Tye (Steve) of Pekin, a brother: Ronnie Blackburn of Raeford, North Carolina, a sister: Marlita Bell of Salem, three grandchildren and four Yorkies.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service.
