Rodney W. Alwin age 71 of Salem passed away Tuesday, December 30 at 2:15AM at his home.
Mr. Alwin was born May 16, 1943 in Madison, Wisconsin the son of Herman and Evelyn Lehman Alwin. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company Chicago Stamping Plant. He was a Master Gardner and received his degree from Purdue University.
Rodney is survived by his wife: Carol Hagen Alwin. They were married May 5, 1989. He is also survived by his son: Eric Joseph Alwin (Alexandra) of Denver, Colorado, his daughters: Jere Alwin of Omaha, Nebraska and Nicole Alwin of Denver, Colorado, 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.
Funeral services and burial will be private in Wisconsin.
