Mr. Roscoe Foster Brewer age 99 of Salem passed away Wednesday, October 29 at 1:40PM at his home.
Mr. Brewer was born September 29, 1915 in Campbellsburg the son of William and Dessie Mae Foster Brewer. He was a retired mechanic for Sperry New Holland. He attended Westview Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 75 years: Alice Caroline Mahuron Brewer. They were married June 24, 1939. He is also survived by three daughters: Loretta Buchanan and Bonnie Floyd (Roger) both of Salem and Linda Hoggatt (Dannie) of Pekin, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Kenneth Brewer, four brothers: Lester, Lewis, Everett and Clarence Brewer and two sisters: Nina Russell and Mable Parrish.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8PM and Saturday from 9AM-time of service.
