Shirley A (Huff) Callahan

Mrs. Shirley A. Callahan age 76 of Salem passed away Wednesday, January 31 at St. Vincent Hospital in Salem.

Mrs. Callahan was born August 20, 1941 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of Carl Huff Sr. and Mary H. Goodman Huff.  She was a homemaker and a member of Douglas Church of Christ.

Shirley married Don Callahan on October 3, 1959 and he preceded her in death on February 6, 2017.  She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter:  Brooklyn Collings and her parents.

She is survived by a son:  Jake Callahan (Brenda) of Salem, Beth Melloncamp (Terry) of Crothersville, two brothers:  Carl Huff Jr. of Salem and Terry Huff of Venezuela, a sister:  Donna Williams of Salem, four grandchildren:  Trenton Collings, Shelby Callahan, Brittany Hoevener and Christy Collings, and four great-grandchildren:  Wyatt, Willie, Alyssa, and Bryson.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Kansas Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service.
