Mrs. Verna Ellen Muncy age 74 of Campbellsburg passed away Friday, November 17 at her home.
Mrs. Muncy was born July 11, 1943 in Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of Hershel Lewis and Ida M. Bailey Farmer. She was a retired employee of Child Craft.
Verna is survived by her husband of 43 years: Vellis Muncy of Campbellsburg, two sons: Tim Cole (Ruth) and Michael Cole (Shirley) both of Campbellsburg, a daughter: Lana Whiting (Jimmie) of Charleston, West Virginia, a step-daughter: Penny Richardson (Jerry) of Salem, one sister, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son: Jeffrey S. Cole, one brother, one sister, 2 great-grandchildren, her parents and step-father: Darrell Farmer.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no services at the funeral home.
