Mrs. Vina Mae Decker age 94 of Salem passed away Wednesday, January 7 at St. Vincent Hospital of Salem.
Mrs. Decker was born March 28, 1920 in Grayson County, Kentucky the daughter of Mitch Stephenson and Daisy Johnson Stephenson. She was a homemaker and a member of Hardinsburg and Salem Homemakers Clubs. She was also a member of Westview Christian Church.
Mae was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years: Ralph L. Decker on October 25, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her son: Dwight Lee Decker, five brothers, three sisters and her parents. She is survived by two daughters: Gle Etta Williams of Salem and Gaylene Strain of Indianapolis, a brother: Elsie Stephenson of Georgetown, Indiana, a sister: Marie Elmore of Leitchfield, Kentucky, 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hardinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8PM and Saturday from 9AM-time of service.
