Virginia Lea (Pickerill) Chinn

Mrs. Virginia Lea Chinn, age 76, of Pekin, passed away Monday, August 7 at Baptist Health Floyd.

Mrs. Chinn was born January 11, 1947, in Washington County, Indiana, the daughter of Charles E. and Geraldine Martin Pickerill.  She was a member of Blue River Baptist Church.

Virginia is survived by her husband:  J Harris Chinn.  They were married December 10, 1983.  She is also survived by a son:  Tim Baker of Salem, two daughters:  Sharon Baker of Salem and Pam Ratts (Scott) of Pekin, her mother:  Geraldine Pickerill of Salem, three brothers:  Dennis Pickerill of New Albany, David Pickerill of Pekin, and Donald Pickerill of Pekin, a sister:  Nancy Dietrich (Danny) of Salem, six grandchildren:  Brooke Hubacher, Nick Blair, Lily Baker, Joshua Ratts, Andrew Ratts, and Ronetta Brown, and 10 great-grandchildren:  Addy, Emma, Atticus, Brylynn, River, Madi, Colton, Caleb, Rylee, and Everly.

She was preceded in death by her father:  Charles E. Pickerill, a sister:  Patricia Pickerill and a grandson:  Bryce Blair.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 12, at 11:30AM at Blue River Baptist Church with Brad Moore officiating.  Visitation will be from 10
AM-time of service.
