Vonda Carol Carthy

Vonda Carol Carthy, age 57, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, October 1 at her home. 

Vonda was born July 19, 1966 in Watervliet, Michigan, the daughter of Willard Bridges and Joyce Hall Bridges. She was a member of Salem Nazarene Church. 

She is survived by two brothers: James Bridges of Coalfield, Tennessee and James Leroy Bridges of Macon, Georgia, two sisters: Lowritha Pena of Geraldine, Alabama and Susan Jean Bridges of Knoxville, Tennessee and her adopted father: Richard “Dick” Nietzke. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 4 sisters and her adopted mother: Mary Nietzke. 

Cremation was chosen and services will be held in Alabama.
