William "Bill" Bowlsbey Sr.

Mr. William “Bill” Bowlsbey Sr., age 69, of Salem, passed away Sunday, June 9 at his home.

Mr. Bowlsbey was born August 22, 1949 in Elkton, Maryland the son of Jim Bowlsbey and Martha Estep.  He was a former employee of Kimball International.

William is survived by his wife:  Christine Kurbyun Bowlsbey.  They were married June 21, 1969.  He is also survived by a son:  William Bowlsbey Jr. (Angela) of North Vernon, a daughter:  Angela Shell (John) of Salem, four brothers:  James, Henry and Jackie Bowlsbey and Freddie Smith, 8 grandchildren:  John, Jacob, James, Ava, and Jackson Shell, Corrina Gilbert, Alyssa Westerburg and Cody Bowlsbey, and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers:  Condy, Paul, Clyde and Willard Stanley and two sisters:  Cordelia Fitzwater and Mandy Trivett.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no public services.
