William Thomas “Willy T” Burnett III age 21 of Pekin passed away Wednesday, April 9 in an accident on Highway 60 in Campbellsburg.
Willy was born March 20, 1993 in Salem the son of William Thomas Burnett Jr. and Susan Dyke Burnett. He was a member of Local #795, Laborers’ International Union of North America. He was also working part time for Elliott Tree Service.
He is survived by his parents: William Thomas Burnett Jr. of Pekin and Susie Burnett of Campbellsburg, a brother: Scotty Wayne Hurst (Megan) of Martinsburg, two sisters: Danielle Renae Burnett and Breanna Marie Hurst both of Campbellsburg, grandparents: Robert William Dyke of Nashville, Tennessee and Sandra K. Rickard of Pekin, great-grandmother: Thelma Osterhalph of Rockingham, North Carolina, 1 nephew and 2 nieces.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4-8PM and Sunday from 9AM-time of service.
