Barbara B. Brown

Mrs. Barbara B. Brown, age 93, of Pekin, passed away Thursday, November 24 at Baptist Health in Louisville.

Mrs. Brown was born November 21, 1929 in Ochsenfurt, Germany the daughter of Otto Kleinschrod and Marianne Braciszewski Kleinschrod. She was a member of Pekin Church of Christ, and the local Homemaker’s Club.

She is preceded in death by her husband: David Brown, a brother: Adi Kleinschrod, a sister: Trudi Luthe, and her parents.

She is survived by two daughters: Sylvia Hurt of Ochsenfurt, Germany, and Marianne Webster (David) of Salem, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, December 2 at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8PM and Friday from 9AM-until time of service.
