Barbara J (Leathermon) Wingler

Mrs. Barbara J. Wingler, age 84, of Brownstown passed away Saturday, December 28 at Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown.

Mrs. Wingler was born January 16, 1935 in Little York, Indiana the daughter of Frank and Lola Ballard Leathermon.  She was a homemaker and a member of Christian Heritage Chapel in Salem.

Barbara married Roy Eugene Wingler on February 23, 1963 and he preceded her in death on July 29, 2018.  She was also preceded in death by a brother:  Leon Leathermon, a sister:  Wanda Sutton and her parents.

Barbara is survived by two sons:  Gilbert W. VanWinkle (Laura) of Seymour and Kent Wingler (Denise) of Michigan, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 10AM-time of service.
