Mr. Clifford Cozart, age 85, of Salem, passed away Sunday, May 29 at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Mr. Cozart was born April 23, 1937, in Peoria, Illinois the son of Loyd and Thelma Setser Cozart. He was a retired diesel mechanic. Clifford was an Army veteran and a member of Salem VFW and American Legion.
Clifford is survived by his wife: Shirley Jackson Cozart, five sons: Johnny Cozart (Jolena) of New Albany, Mike Cozart (Betty) of Salem, Danny Cozart (Penny) of New Albany, Randy Cozart (Rikki) of Salem, and Martin Cozart (Nikki) of Salem, two daughters: Bobbie Cecil of New Albany and Barbara Bolin (Benny) of Salem, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Vicki Cozart, a son-in-law: Mark Cecil, a brother: Jack Loyd Cozart, a sister: Liz Humphrey, a grandson: Justin Cozart and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11AM-time of service. Military honors will be held at the funeral home following the service.
