Cordia Marie (Crawford) Webb Bays

Mrs. Cordia Marie Webb Bays, age 73, of Livonia, passed away Thursday, May 2 at Meadow View Health and Rehab in Salem.

She was born May 4, 1945 in Ingram, Kentucky the daughter of Speed and Sarah Maiden Crawford.  She was a member of Lear Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Meadow View Health and Rehab in Salem.

In June of 1962, she married James R. Webb Sr. and he preceded her in death in 2001.  In 2015, she married Elam Bays and he preceded her in death in 2016.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters.

She is survived by her children:  James R. Webb Jr. of Livonia, Linda Webb Woodward (Jim) of Salem and Bobby R. Webb (Jennifer) of Pekin, four grandchildren:  Clifton, Shawn, Shanda and Devon and three great-grandchildren:  Clifton, Mason and Nora. She is also survived by five sisters:  Sue Rockey of Pekin, Minnie Wilson of Pekin, Annie Logsdon of Pekin, Jimmie Knight (Goebel) of Pekin, and Frances McDaries (Willie) of Tropser, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews.

Marie loved flowers and watching the squirrels and rabbits playing in her yard.  She also liked to watch the birds at the feeder, especially the hummingbirds.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Blue River Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 5-8PM and Tuesday from 9AM-time of service.
