Debra Sue (Leedy) Sember

Debra Sue Sember was born to Richard Byrle Leedy and Opal Faye Shouse Leedy on October 22, 1957 in Scott County, Indiana.  She passed away peacefully at her home on May 7, 2021 at 4:26PM surrounded by the love of her children and was preceded in death by her parents, a brother:  Donnie Leedy  and a sister:  Carol Cook.

Debra loved to garden.  She enjoyed flowers and the Spring.  She enjoyed time spent with family and holding her grandbabies.  She was a faithful Christian, never doubting the home prepared for her in Heaven.

Debra was the mother of six children:  William Joseph Leedy of Florida, Courtney Ann Leedy of Salem, Suzanne Ponsford (Derick) of Salem, Gregory Sember (Samantha) of Elizabeth, Michael Travis Sember (Liz) of Salem, and Angela Marie Wright (Brian) of Salem.  She had nine grandchildren:  Suzanne and Ember Mclane, Sheridan, Seth and Silas Ponsford, Hadassah Dowdley, Logan Wright, and Maxwell and Thomas Sember.  She had one great-grandchild:  South Mclane.   She is also survived by two brothers:  Ronnie Leedy of Oklahoma and Rod Leedy of Franklin, and two sisters:  Susie Peat of Salem and Pamela Pike of Scottsburg.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11 at 7PM at Weathers Funeral Home with T.C. Baker officiating.  Visitation will be from 4-7PM.
