Mr. Dennis L. Bishop, age 66, of Pekin, passed away Monday, January 18 at Clark Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Bishop was born August 31, 1954 in Jeffersonville, Indiana the son of Lindsey and Bonnie Thompson Bishop.  He was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School.  Dennis was a truck driver for Southern Metal in Louisville and a member of the Pekin Saddle Club.

Dennis is survived by his wife:  Robin Mahuron Bishop.  They were married February 16, 1990.  He is also survived by two sons:  Tim Coleman (Angela) of Charlestown and Billy Cody (Brittany) of Lanesville, his father:  Lindsey Bishop of Clarksville, two brothers:  Tom Bishop and David Bishop both of Jeffersonville, three sisters:  Kathy Ford (David) of New Washington, Mary Sue Payton of Jeffersonville, and Melissa Pierce (Scott) of Charlestown, and 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son:  Tony Bishop, a brother:  Larry Bishop, and his mother:  Bonnie Bishop.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11AM Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Blue River Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday from 9AM-time of service.

Due to Covid restrictions, only 25 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time for visitation and masks are required.
