Mr. Donald L. Lincks, age 79, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, May 26 at Salem Crossing.

Mr. Lincks was born January 10, 1941 in London, Kentucky the son of John and Gladys Reed Lincks. He was a self-employed logger and farmer. He was a member of the Washington County Coon Hunters Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Marilyn Lincks on October 22, 2008. He is also preceded in death by five brothers: John Lincks, Doug Lincks, Kenny Ray Lincks, Charlie Lincks, and Russ Lincks, a sister: Nancy Schmidt, a grandson: Justin Lynn Cozart, and his parents.

He is survived by a son: Ricky Lee Lincks (Rita) of Salem, a daughter: Kim Davis (Randy) of Salem, three brothers: Ronald Dee Lincks of Floyds Knobs, David Lincks of Palmyra, and William Lincks of Salem, two sisters: Daisy Pike of Greenville, and Patty Zimmerman of Jacksonville, Florida, three grandchildren: Ricky Duane Lincks, Jared Lee Lincks, and Martin Cozart Jr., five great-grandchildren: Noah David Lincks, Nicholas Asher Lincks, Jensen Lee Lincks, Raegan Skye Lincks, and Rian Grace Lincks.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 28 at Kansas Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Kansas Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 P.M.- until time of service at the church.
