James E Chaney

Mr. James E. Chaney, age 67, of New Salisbury, passed away Sunday, September 29 at his home.

Mr. Chaney was born February 17, 1952 in Pikeville, Kentucky the son of Warren G. Chaney and Arizona Virginia Justice Williams.

James is survived by his companion of 12 years:  Teresa Francis of New Salisbury, two sons:  James Wiley of Florida, and Steven Chaney of Indianapolis,  a daughter:  Linda Earlene Mauer of Seymour, a step-son: Chucky Muns, two brothers:  Robert Bevins of Arkansas and Roger Chaney of Indianapolis, three sisters:  Mildred Morris, Patricia Cessna, and Joan Chaney all of Indianapolis, 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by a brother:  Joe Chaney, a sister:  Betty Pier and his parents.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 3 at 12:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 11Am-time of service.
