Jerry McKnight

Mr. Jerry McKnight, age 79, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, October 6 at his home.

Mr. McKnight was born July 7, 1942 in Salem the son of Mervin and Ethel Peden McKnight.  He was a retired construction worker.  He was a member of Blue River Baptist Church.  Jerry loved the outdoors and fishing.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Vivian Bruck McKnight.  They were married June 14, 2006.  He is also survived by one son:  Scott McKnight (Nicole) of Kingsland, Georgia, one daughter:  Stacey Bradley (Kevin) of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, three brothers:  Perry McKnight, Charles McKnight and Jack McKnight all of Salem, and three grandchildren:  Payton, Paisley, and Parker.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Blue River Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday, October 13 from 4-8PM and Thursday, October 14  from 9AM-time of service.
