Michael E. Ratts

Mr. Michael E. Ratts, age 70, of Salem, passed away, Monday, February 28 at University of Louisville Hospital.

Mr. Ratts was born September 29, 1951 in Salem the son of Carl Eugene Ratts and Elizabeth Voyles Ratts. He was the owner of Salem Wrecker Service for 26 years. Mike was a 1970 Salem High School graduate.

He is survived by his wife: Brenda Dever Ratts they were married December 31, 1983. He is also survived by a son: Shaun Ratts of Salem, a daughter Kenna Howell of Salem, three brothers: Scott Ratts, Phillip Ratts, and Patrick Wright all of Salem, a sister: Diane Ratts of Salem, three grandchildren: Sterlen Keller, Joey Howell, and Jacob Howell, and seven great-grandchildren: Avary Keller, Benton Howell, Leighton Howell, Josiah Howell, Jeremiah Howell, Clayton Tincher, and Raelan Spears.

He is preceded in death by a sister: Connie Ratts and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 4 at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kansas Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4PM-8PM and Friday from 9AM-until time of service at the funeral home.
