Roy Davidson

Mr. Roy Davidson, age 79, of Salem, passed away Monday, July 19 at UofL Hospital.

Mr. Davidson was born December 13, 1941 in Brutus, Kentucky the son of Howell and Lora Chandler Davidson. He was retired from the Ohio Laborer’s Union and Jeff Boat. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Ruth Robinson Davidson they were married June 27, 1968. He is also survived by two daughters: Gail Cornett of Salem, and Kimberley Davidson (Ed Reid) of Hamilton, OH, a brother: Brandon Davidson of Salem, a sister: Ollie Mae Sampanis of Bloomington, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by three brothers: Coy Davidson, Bill Davidson, and William Scott Davidson, and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M. Thursday at Highland Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11AM-until time of service at the church.
