Verta (Hensley) Sullivan

Mrs. Verta Sullivan, age 88, of Campbellsburg, passed away Sunday, May 30 at her home with her daughter and granddaughter by her side.

Mrs. Sullivan was born March 25, 1933 in Clay County, Kentucky the daughter of Bradley and Lena Combs Hensley.  She was a retired employee of the State of Florida.

Verta is survived by one daughter:  Norine Knight (Tony) of Campbellsburg, one brother:  Gilbert Hensley of Richmond, Indiana, 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two daughters:  Veanica Hamilton and Brenda Pumphrey, five brothers:  Jamie Hensley, Elbert Hensley, Arthur Hensley, Earl Hensley and Conley Hensley, three sisters:  Gladys Daniels, Helen Jones, and Martha Webb, one grandson:  Troy Pumphrey and one great-grandson:  Ian Catlett.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 11AM-time of service.
